Your troop can enjoy a day of fun and learning at Devil’s Lake on the cliffs. Apex Adventure Alliance works with groups of all ages, sizes, and abilities. Beginners welcome! All gear, instruction, and guides included. Senior Girl Scouts can work on their Adventurer Badge! Girl Scouts receive special pricing on adventure packages, ranging from $40 – $70 per person.

Apostle Islands National Lakeshore

Along windswept beaches and cliffs, visitors experience where water meets land and sky, culture meets culture, and past meets present. The 21 islands and 12 miles of mainland host a unique blend of cultural and natural resources.  Lighthouses shine over Lake Superior and the new wilderness areas. Explore the park or rent kayaks. National Parks are great places to work on Outdoor badges!

Jellystone Park Camp Resort and Bear Paw Adventure Park

Girl Scout Troops are invited to camp at Jellystone Park and Camp Resort! Jellystone is a family-friendly campground with tent/RV sites and cabins, and features a beach, floating water park and challenge course, and high ropes course. Camping at Jellystone is a great way to work on many outdoor badges, including camping, climbing, outdoor art, and beyond.

Lost Creek Adventures

Lost Creek Adventures offers summer seasonal sea kayaking trips within the Apostle Island National Lakeshore, as well as youth oriented outdoor adventures and workshops. Troops can enjoy guided trips and paddling skill courses, from half-day to 6 days in length. All permits and equipment are provided.

Become a Girl Scout Junior Park Ranger by stopping in the Visitors Centers on the riverway for some fun activities, or call ahead to request a program to earn an outdoor badge!  Visiting St. Croix is a great outdoor adventure.

Trek & Trail

Get ready for a kayaking adventure! Trek & Trail offers kayaking day and overnight trips on Lake Superior with safety certified guides. Enjoy the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore while practicing Leave No Trace principles, and growing teamwork and leadership skills. Trek & Trail is for Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors. Kayaking trips are a great fit for many outdoor badges, including Eco Trekker, Primitive Camper, Trailblazing, Adventure Camper, Adventurer, Paddling, Survival Camper, and Ultimate Recreation Challenge.

Twin Cities Trapeze

Twin Cities Trapeze Center offers Flying Trapeze Lessons to all ages and abilities. Gone are the days when you had to be born into a circus family to experience the joy of ‘flying through the air with the greatest of ease’. Now you can take a class at Twin Cities Trapeze Center and feel the thrill of the circus without running away. Troops can enjoy flying trapeze and other circus arts, including trampoline, lyra, silks, and/or juggling.
