Bones and teeth
A fun look at the make up of bones and teeth and how to care for them. We will look at the importance of brushing and flossing, proper nutrition, and what happens from too much exposure to soda.

In us, on us and around us
Let’s talk about microbes! They do some pretty neat things that help us or they can do things that can hurt us. We can discuss how to keep ourselves safe from getting sick and we can talk about the cool things microbes do for us every day. We can tailor this to grade level.
All ages
Preparedness starts at home
Tailored to age groups, this workshop teaches girls how to prepare their homes for disasters such as power outages, floods and severe weather. We will discuss supplies to have on hand (including some creative uses for things they may already have) and community connections.
30-60minutes (longer for older girls) Juniors through ambassadors
Sparkle Safely
Don’t get fooled by the hype! Many personal care and cleaning product ingredients can have negative impacts on health. We will discuss the science of how our bodies react to certain exposures and we will also cover how to choose safer products.

Why choose a STEM field?
An honest discussion about engaging in a STEM education and career. We will discuss the challenges and rewards of being a female in a STEM field. We will tie in how the Girl Scouts experience is already laying the groundwork!
