Activity Accident Insurance

Activity accident insurance is supplemental health insurance. See the comparison chart below to review the specifics of each available plan from GSUSA provided through Mutual of Omaha. When planning activities and trips, note the required timelines for submitting the Plan 3P and Plan 3PI insurance requests.

From October 1, 2023, through October 1, 2025, Girl Scout members and non-members are covered by the Girl Scout Basic Plan (Plan 1) of supplemental activity accident insurance and do not need to purchase Activity Insurance (Plan 2) for any supervised Girl Scout activity they were invited to participate in. At this time, approval forms for the above have not changed and are still needed. Current membership registration and background check requirements have not changed.

Accident Plus Sickness Insurance (Plan 3P) is available for purchase. Use the online form below. We recommend this insurance for troop travel to help cover unexpected illness and travel home.
