It could be a wild time or sweetly serene. Probably both.

It could be a short walk or a long camping weekend. Full of amazing art or high adventure. Get Girl Scouts outside and engage all their senses! Here’s a pile of council resources to help you plan and enjoy all the fun of group outings in the great outdoors.

Volunteer training: Volunteers can practice their fire-tending skills and learn how to teach campfire safety to girls in our Outdoor Education training, which is required to lead outdoor campfires, outdoor cooking, and tent camping activities. Check the Events calendar on the council website to search for spring or fall trainings, or ask your Service Area’s Outdoor Champion for help.

Would you rather leave the planning and preparation to us? Join us at a council-hosted outdoor program!  These events help Girl Scouts complete steps toward earning a badge or award or give them a high adventure opportunity. Check the Events calendar. In addition to our day camps and sleep-away camps, you can register for a troop camp weekend. Also, check your service area calendar for service area-hosted outdoor activities for local girls!
